The Truth behind Natural Products

February 20th, 2009

It’s not always wise to blindly believe those skin care products that boast to be organic. If you were to take a more detailed analysis of the ingredients you might find out that the components of the product are not what they claim to be.

Natural acne care is highly popular today. Everyone wants natural components in their lotions and creams. From aloe to jojoba, many components are proclaimed as being a fully natural ingredient used to treat skin afflictions. The classification isn’t so cut and dry. Do all solutions that claim to be natural acne cure really deserve the title? What makes a natural skin care product truly natural?

The term ‘natural’, when used in a context describing product, has never been formally defined and agreed upon by all vendors. This makes it completely impossible to have a global standard applied to all solutions claiming to be natural. Consumers can never be fully sure their face cream or shampoo is what they technically consider ‘natural’.

How many times have you heard about new products claiming to be derived from organic botanicals and herbs? Botanicals are directly derived from plants. For example, aloe vera is one of the most known extracts used to usually treat cold sores, dry skin, and general skin inflammations. It is a ‘natural’ ingredient because it is derived directly from a herb. The troubling issue with the use of components like this is the lack of complete clinical studies regarding side effects. Natural skin cleansers can give you countless complications.

Aloe vera can cause intermittent rashes in some people. While it is commonly thought to cure skin inflammations, the evidence does not avail use for anti inflammatory purposes. Herein lays the issue with ‘natural’ skin care. Producers of biologic and organic solutions work under different standards and different criteria. Not having a global standard allows for quite a bit of wiggle room when it comes to classification under natural skin care.

Biological Skin Care Products Leave No Side-effects

Shoppers all over the world buy products based on logos and symbols. Significant sales growth has been seen because of growing environmental sensitivity and an over all change in wellness. Just placing the right words and logos catches the eyes of consumers and makes the actual product unimportant. If the front of the bottle says its natural, then the product inside must be. This is a perilous way to buy skin care products. How do you know what the side effects of the ingredients are? Just because it is ‘natural’, it does not imply it is beneficial for your skin. Purchases require to be based on components and not symbols.

Natural skin care solutions have the connotation of keeping people safe from chemicals and compounds. The perception is changing that natural acne skin care products are less efficient than their chemical laced counterparts. Older, more educated people with extra income are more willing to spend their paychecks on creams and lotions they believe to be healthier than regular store bought products. Natural acne remedies are always at a premium.

Scars can now be safely eliminated thanks to a natural skin care solution that embodies one the best curing ingredients that Mother Nature can offer.
