While commercial gyms are found professionally installed in member-based health clubs, there are several kinds of the multi station gym for the home. These home gyms typically have several features in common with the larger commercial variety.
Larger multi station gyms can have two or more of these frames set several feet apart. These can be connected by one or more horizontal cross over bars, which are ideal of pull-ups. Basic multi station gyms consist of a four-sided “jungle gym” frame with a station on each side, 3-4 weight stacks in its center, and a system of pulleys and cables overhead.
